This Cookie Policy explains how My Tender ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, what they do, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

Queensland does not have a separate cookie law for private businesses. The Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) applies to Queensland government agencies rather than to us, so the Privacy Act is the law that governs our use of cookies.
We don't turn on optional cookies until you agree. Our cookie banner gives you an equal choice to accept or decline, with no pre-ticked boxes, and declining does not stop you from using this website.
These are needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice, so they are always on. They are not used for analytics or advertising.
If you accept analytics cookies, we use analytics to understand how people use our site, such as which pages are visited and how long visits last. We use this to improve the website. If you decline, or haven't chosen yet, analytics are switched off and nothing is stored for analytics purposes.
If we ever start using a new type of cookie, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where it is optional.
We use trusted service providers to host this website, deliver its fonts and images, handle enquiries sent through our contact form and, if you accept, provide analytics. When your browser loads parts of the website from these providers, they receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, as happens whenever a website loads content from another server. We don't allow them to use this website to place advertising or tracking cookies.
When you send an enquiry, a random code is attached to it so it can be processed. If you haven't accepted analytics cookies, we delete it from your browser straight away.
Some of these providers may process information on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we take the reasonable steps required by APP 8, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
This policy covers this website. The My Tender client portal uses essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to keep your account secure. The portal is covered by our Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy when our website changes or the law changes. For example, the Australian Government released draft Privacy Act reforms in August 2026 that would strengthen consent requirements and clarify that online identifiers are personal information. If those or other changes affect how we use cookies, we will update this policy and, where needed, ask for your consent again. The current version will always be on this page with its last updated date.
